Tri-World Piano Centre, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall

By Gerard Marcilla

Just recently, Tri-World Piano Centre opened its merchandise to the people who usually shop at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. Located at the second floor of the mall, it is quite easy to spot with its bright yellow name. It also has branches in SM Megamall, SM Bicutan, SM North and Festival Mall. Tri-World Piano Centre sells a variety of musical instruments and offers music lessons to those who are interested.

The first thing you’ll notice when you enter their store is that it is quite neat and organized, unlike other music shops that are cramped with musical instruments. The store's interior is also quite bright, emphasizing the glory of the different musical instruments that are on display such as the electric guitars and acoustic pianos. You can already tell that most of the musical instruments being sold there will cost you a fortune just by looking at it. Of course, I’m not surprised that the price range of the products there is P1,100-P1,500,000. The most expensive one is a grand piano that had been imported from Japan. And do take note, apparently, a grand piano worth P1,500,000 is already cheap compared to other musical stores' prices.

Tri-World Piano Centre also offers guitar, voice and violin lessons at their shop. Inside, they have a sound-proof room where customers or students can try or learn their musical instruments. Albeit being small and a little bit cramped, it contains an upright piano and a chair. What makes their tutorials special is that the tutors are graduates from well-known universities and colleges such as UP and San Beda. Guitar and voice lessons will cost you P5,500 while violin lessons will cost you P6,500.

If you are looking for a place to buy a musical instrument or learn how to play one, you might as well try Tri-World Piano Centre. With it's "high end but low cost" products and professional teachers, it will give its competitors a run for its money.
